We are excited to announce that Jordan Hulsey has been promoted to Senior Project Manager.

His excellent track record and knowledge of our company and customers over the last 16 years has driven our growth and stability.  Over the next few months, Jordan will begin handing off projects and customers to other project managers so he can focus on customer care, growth of our UL508A Industrial Control Panel shop and growing the industrial division specifically in the automation areas.  He will support the other PM’s to continue caring for and servicing our customers by overseeing their projects and management.

This promotion is effective immediately.  Please join me in congratulating Jordan in his success.

Breaker Buzz!!! Caldwell Electrical- IN THE NEWS!!!

First, I want to thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving us the strength, knowledge, ability, employees and contacts to make this all happen.

On Tuesday, April 1, 2014 around 12:45 AM CEC received a call from Wayne Farms. They had a catastrophic failure on their 4000Amp bolt loc switch, this switch had burnt a phase and could not be repaired. With this 4000Amp service being one of (6) services feeding from a GA Power substation and this service feeding the plants entire refrigeration system they had to shut the plant down for the day, at 2:30 AM Caldwell Electrical along with Wayne Farms shut the plant down. With concerns of a new switch being a minimum of 3-5 or more days out we turned to Astro Controls out of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. We knew from years of experience working with them the would have or could get this switch but they had (4) of these switches on the shelf already but they had to be rebuilt so they started this process including all certifications for testing for a fully refurbished switch tested to new factory standards. With a Chartered plane we picked up this nearly 400lb switch and had it back at the Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville, GA by late that same day. Once we loaded the switch onto our trucks our technicians delivered it with generators, stand lights, and our tools to the jobsite. By 3:00 AM Wednesday April 2nd just over 24hours we had this plant up and running so they could start production on Wednesday.

If you are looking for this type of service and a contractor that will provide you with 24/7 support and has the experience to perform, we are here to help you. This is also a good reminder if you have not performed an Infrared Thermograph Inspection and Preventive Maintenance of your Main Switchboards and Panel Boards give us a call and we would
be glad to help.
